MITRE's Recruitment Center provides access to forms and instructions,
as well as job postings corporation-wide.
The MITRE Corporation was created in 1958 and is an established leader
in systems engineering and information technology. An independent not-for-profit
company, The MITRE Corporation provides technical support to the federal
government through its operation of federally funded research and development
centers (FFRDCs).
CAASD is one of those FFRDCs. Through these centers, MITRE provides
the government with creative, strategic, and practical solutions to complex
technological problems.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) established a contractual relationship
with MITRE in 1958, and it's been continuous since. CAASD was created
in 1990 as a sign of that long relationship. Today, CAASD is a key contributor
to the building of a safer, more efficient, collaborative worldwide air
traffic management system.
